The Grilled Chicken Thai Bang-Na Trat Rd. T: 0-2710-5518. Open: dinner, daily. Karaoke is big here, but the main attraction is to order whole fried chicken that is subsequently thrown across the dining area by a catapult and then caught by a waiter riding a unicycle. Going there is worth it just for that as the rest of the place is average.
The Red & White Thai Sukhumvit 105 (next to Bangkok Patana Scholl). T:0-2749-1226. Open: lunch & dinner, daily. Thai name of restaurant unknown. Local farang named it from the banners that the restaurant used to (but no longer) have. Neither locals or visitors eat there for the decor or ambience, but it has the best thai food in Bang Na.
